Jordan Slaiby was named Special Teams Player of the Week and defensive back
Breon Noel earned Rookie of the Week honors, the Northeast Conference announced Monday.
Slaiby, a Bristow, Va. native, recorded seven punts for a total of 285 yards in a 35-15 loss at Eastern Michigan. His 40.7 average is five yards further than his 35.7 two-year career average at NCAA Division II Alderson Broaddus. Of his seven total punts, five landed inside the 20-yard line. The award is Slaiby's first as a member of the Red Flash in his first appearance.
Noel, a Baltimore, Md. native, had seven total tackles (two solo) in Friday's game at Eastern Michigan. He added one tackle for loss in his first collegiate appearance. His total tackles ranked third on the team in the Red Flash's first game against an FBS opponent in program history.

Kahtero Summers was also named to the NEC Prime Performers, a list of eight players around the conference who produced top performances. The Coatesville, Pa. native posted five catches for 115 yards, including a 51-yard reception.
Saint Francis returns to the field Saturday, Sept. 11 when they visit No. 5 Delaware in Newark.
