LORETTO, PA. – Saint Francis University men's tennis announced the addition of freshman
Drake Redman as an official member of the roster ahead of the spring 2022 season.
The native of Chesterton, Ind. joins the Red Flash as a mid-year addition after he was a four-year letter winner and team captain at Chesterton High School. He compiled a 49-9 career record that included an 18-3 senior season.
Redman contributed to two Conference Championships and one Sectional Championship winning teams. He was honored as an All-Conference, All-District and Senior All-Star selection. On the Chesterton team, he was awarded Most Valuable Player, Mental Attitude Award and Most Improved during his career.
He was a member of the United States Tennis Association (USTA) Junior Circuit, where he won 89 matches across multiple years of experience. He competed in his first USTA as a 16-year-old after he started playing tennis for the first time as a 15-year-old.
Redman intends to major in marketing during his time at Saint Francis. He will look towards competing with the team in the 2022-23 season after his official addition.
