TURNING POINT OF THE GAME
The Bobcats scored in the first 86 seconds and then in the final five minutes for the only two tallies of the afternoon.

FLASH MOMENTS
Saint Francis had several chances to score on the afternoon, but could not convert. Four of the five shots on goal came off of penalty corners. Valentini had a chance of a penalty corner in the fifth minute turned away and then in the 39th minute Valentini had a shot stopped by the defense and a second penalty corner chance by Kenny was saved in the same minute. Kenny also had a shot halted off a penalty corner in the 53rd minute.

Madison Waldspurger (Hatfield, Pa.) had the only shot on goal that did not come off a penalty corner, but her chance was also thwarted by the netminder in the 24th minute.
FLASH NUGGETS
Saint Francis was held off the scoreboard for the fourth time this season, but the first time in six games. All four shutouts have occurred on Sundays.

It marked the first time that Valentini has not scored in a game since the last shutout on September 25. The sophomore had six goals and one assist in that span. It is the ninth time in the last two years that the Red Flash have been shutout, while Valentini has posted a point in 21 of the 25 games Saint Francis has found the cage.

South has made 15 saves in her last three games.
NEXT GAME
Saint Francis will play two games at home for Homecoming Weekend. The Red Flash opens the weekend on Friday against Merrimack at 3 p.m.

The Loretto program is currently a half game out of the final playoff spot, but finish the Northeast Conference slate with three teams that are a combined 2-35 overall and 1-10 in league play.
