TURNING POINT OF THE GAME
After Central Michigan scored in the first five minutes of the match, the Red Flash rolled off the next four tallies to take the lead it would not relinquish. Zavaleta, who had the game-winner against Rider on Friday, tied the game at 1 when she knocked in a rebounded save off the stick of Valentini at 17:20. Maillie followed with a goal 60 seconds later to give the Loretto program the lead it would not relinquish. Waldspurger scored the eventual game-winner for her first collegiate marker at 20:36 and Valentini capped the spurt with an unassisted goal.
FLASH MOMENTS
Waldspurger posted goals at 44:11 and 51:28 to cap her first career hat trick. The freshman had tallies in three of the last four Red Flash goals. The freshman becomes the first player to register a hat trick in a game since Brea Seabrook scored three times against Colgate on September 10, 2017.Â
FLASH NUGGETS
With her goal, Valentini moved into the program's Top-10 for points with 38 points. She has scored in four of the last five matches and six of the 10 games this season to lead the team with seven goals and two assists for 16 points. For her career, she has 15 tallies and eight assists for 38 points. She can move into sixth place for career goals with four goals.

Zavaleta, who had four assists coming into the weekend, registered her first two career goals in the two victories. The sophomore scored the decisive goal on Friday against the Broncs and then the game-tying score on Sunday.

Similar to Zavaleta, Maillie had not had a point coming into the weekend. Maillie posted an assist on Friday and her first career goal on Sunday. She now has one goal and five assists for seven points.
