Donnell Brown and
Cole Doyle were named Northeast Conference Prime Performers, the conference announced Monday. Saint Francis defeated Stonehill 17-13 and moved to 4-0 in conference play.

Brown, a redshirt sophomore, had five total tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, 0.5 sacks and one forced fumble against Stonehill. His turnover forced came in the fourth quarter with Stonehill inside the Saint Francis 30-yard line. He is tied for the NEC lead with 10 tackles for loss this season and his 1.4 tackles for loss per game ranks tied for 18th in the FCS.

Doyle, a redshirt sophomore, was 13-for-21 with 156 passing yards, one passing touchdown and had 10 carries for a game-high 70 rushing yards in the victory over Stonehill. Doyle leads the NEC with a 65.8 completion percentage and ranked tied for second with seven passing touchdowns.

The Prime Performer selection is Brown's third of the season, while Doyle earned his second. Both players were named Prime Performers for a second week in a row and Doyle was selected in both his starts.
