Seniors Pace Saint Francis Field Hockey In Senior Day Victory Against Bellarmine, 3-1

>> Seniors Eugenia Kenny (Buenos Aires, Argentina) and Carysse Norris (Narvon, Pa.) provided the offense on Senior Day to propel Saint Francis to its fourth-straight win and past Bellarmine 3-1 in non-conference regular season action on Sunday.
>> Kenny notched her first career multi-goal performance with the final two goals of the afternoon, while Norris' goal tied the game at 1 going into halftime. The duo and Caileen Quinn (Walpole, Mass.) were honored before the match.
>> While the Red Flash honored its seniors, freshman Chloe Butz (Stroudsburg, Pa.) gave the Saint Francis faithful a glimpse of the future with two assists.
>> Saint Francis will now turn its attention to the Northeast Conference Tournament on Friday. The Red Flash will face top-seeded Rider at 11 a.m., in Staten Island, N.Y.

TURNING POINT OF THE GAME
After the Knights took a 1-0 lead in the 11th minute, the Loretto program posted the final three goals of the afternoon. Norris tied the game when she took a pass from Butz at the 18:43 mark.
 
With the match deadlocked at the intermission, Kenny helped Saint Francis start the second half out fast with a goal 100 seconds into the half off a feed by Ella Maillie (Reading, Pa.). Kenny then handed the Red Flash a two-goal lead when she rattled the cage at 40:45 and the squad held on for a 3-1 win.
 
FLASH MOMENTS
Amber Bryan (Thorndale, Pa.) played the second half to earn the win and turned away four shots, while Chloe South (California, Md.) made three stops in the first 30 minutes.
 
FLASH NUGGETS
Kenny finished the weekend with two goals and two assists after dishing out a pair of assists in the 3-0 win at Sacred Heart on Friday. The senior has three goals and three assists for 12 points in her last four matches and now has four helpers and three tallies for 10 points this season. For her career, Kenny has three markers and six assists for 12 points.
 
Norris has scored twice this weekend and three times in her last four games for her only collegiate points in her career. Butz notched her first two collegiate assists in the match and now has a goal and two assists in her career. Mailiie notched her third assist of the season and seventh of her career and now has a goal and seven assists for nine points in her career.
 
Bryan finishes the regular season with 37 saves and South has 61 stops this season.
 
The four-game winning streak is the team's longest since winning six matches in the 2016 season.
