LORETTO, PA - The Saint Francis Water Polo team welcomes the newest member of their 2022 signing class with Ella Brophy looking to join the squad in the fall semester. Brophy is a center/utility player from East Aurora, New York where she played for University at Buffalo Water Polo club for three seasons.

Red Flash Water Polo Head Coach Jay O'Neil had this to say about his newest signee, "We are excited to welcome Ella to the Red Flash Family.  Ella's background playing for top club teams in California and Chicago should help her adapt very quickly.  Currently she has been practicing with male players so the speed and physicality of the college game will come as no surprise to her.  We are looking forward to how fast she can develop in our system of play."

Brophy will enroll during the fall semester and plans to major in History and Political Science when she arrives at Saint Francis University.
