LORETTO, Pa. – Saint Francis University men's and women's tennis face three different opponents between March 4-6. They face Northern Kentucky on Friday, Xavier on Saturday and Dayton on Sunday.

Men's Last Time Out
The men dropped both matches against LIU and Mount St. Mary's played on March 19-20. They dropped the match against LIU 6-1 and Mount St. Mary's 4-0. Against the Sharks,
Sebastian Pinos and
Andrew Teixeira won their No. 2 doubles match 6-3 but the Red Flash lost the point.
Fabio Varella won the only match of the weekend 7-5, 6-2 in his No. 2 singles battle. Against the Mountaineers,
Marc Fuste and Varella took a 7-6 (7-5) win in No. 1 doubles, but Saint Francis lost the point.
Scouting St. Francis Brooklyn
The Terriers enter Friday's match with an 2-0 conference and 8-5 overall record. They defeated Sacred Heart and Fairleigh Dickinson 6-1 each and enter Friday's match with wins in six of their past seven matches. William Lindqvist Nilsson was named NEC Player of the Week on March 29 for his 2-0 singles week over Fairleigh Dickinson and Hofstra.
All-Time vs. St. Francis Brooklyn
The Red Flash hold a 12-1 advantage over the Terriers since 2008. Saint Francis is riding a current 11-match winning streak since April 10, 2010 that featured seven shutout victories. The last match between the programs was played in 2018, a 5-2 victory for Saint Francis.
Scouting Wagner
Wagner enters Saturday's match with an 0-2 conference and 2-8 overall record this season. They suffered a 7-0 loss to Sacred Heart and 5-2 loss to Merrimack, while two other conference matches were postponed and Fairleigh Dickinson was rescheduled to April 10. Wagner's only two wins this season came over NCAA Division III opponent New Jersey City.

Sacred Heart enters Sunday's match with a 2-4 conference and 5-12 overall record. The Pioneers defeated Fairleigh Dickinson and Wagner, while they suffered losses to LIU, Merrimack, St. Francis Brooklyn and Bryant. Lefteri Apostolou was named NEC Player of the Week on March 22 after he won both No. 1 matches against St. Francis Brooklyn and Boston University. Matyas Vencel was named NEC Rookie of the Week on March 29.
All-Time vs. Sacred Heart
Saint Francis and Sacred Heart have an even 4-4 record since a 2009 matchup. Sacred Heart won the first three meeting between the programs before Saint Francis rattled off a four-match winning streak. The Pioneers have the most recent victory, a 5-2 win during the 2021 season.

The Terriers enter Friday's contest with an 0-2 conference and 1-10 overall record. They suffered shutout defeats to Sacred Heart and Fairleigh Dickinson to open conference play. The only victory for St. Francis Brooklyn came on march 18 over Rider, 4-3.

Saint Francis has an undefeated 14-0 record on St. Francis Brooklyn since 2008. The 14-match streak featured nine shutout victories and the Terriers never earned more than one match victory during the streak. The most recent match was a 6-1 Red Flash victory in 2019.

Wagner enters the weekend with a 1-2 conference and 4-7 overall record. They defeated St. Francis Brooklyn to open conference play before they suffered losses to Sacred Heart and LIU.
