Dayton won four of the six singles matches, though Saint Francis had the match close, 3-2, with two remaining singles matches.
Dominique Yeo took a 6-2, 4-6, 6-2 win in No. 1 singles and
Nagisa Miyake took a 6-2, 6-3 win in No. 6 singles.
With No. 2 and No. 5 singles to play,
Anoek Pruijmboom took a narrow 2-6, 6-4, 4-6 loss in No. 2 and
Valeria Vinces took a three-set 6-2, 4-6, 5-7 loss as the Flyers clinched the victory.
Doubles
Dayton won all-three doubles matches to earn the point. The duo of
Bente Vandeputte and
Romina Cutipa in No. 3 doubles had the closest margin of defeat, 3-6. The Flyers earned the doubles point with 6-2 wins in No. 1 and No. 2.
