LORETTO, Pa. – Saint Francis University softball's Grace Vesco was named a National Fastpitch Coaches' Association Top Performer, the organization announced Tuesday.
 
Vesco, a junior, threw her second no-hitter of the season in a 9-0 five-inning victory over Wagner. The only baserunner she allowed in the game was a hit batter with one out in the fifth inning. She finished the weekend with no runs allowed in eight innings pitched and earned her first save of the season in the series finale.
 
The Uniontown, Ohio native leads the Northeast Conference with a 2.13 ERA and .195 batting average against, is second with 12 wins and four shutouts and is third with 132 strikeouts and 15 complete games. The NFCA Top Performer is her second of the season and seventh of her career.
 
Saint Francis returns to the field for its final-three regular season games at home against Sacred Heart May 7-8.
