>> Saint Francis University men's soccer will compete against St. Bonaventure in a nonconference match to open the 2022 season 6:00 p.m. Thursday, August 25 at the Marra Athletics Field Complex.
The Bonnies finished 4-10-1 last season under the direction of head coach Kwame Oduro. Two of the four wins came from nonconference play. St. Bonaventure was picked 14th in the Atlantic 10 Conference.
The Bonnies have 15 returning players from 2021, including leading scorer Matthew Wrobel. Wrobel scored five goals and two assists for 12 points and was selected to the Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team.

Head coach
Frank Olszewski returns for his fifth season at the helm of the men's soccer program. Olszewski is assisted by
Mads Kaiser for a second season.
The Red Flash have 15 returning players from 2021 and welcome 16 newcomers to the team.
Patrick Heron returns to the Red Flash as the squad's leading scorer with five goals, including two game winning goals.
Northeast Conference All-Rookie Team selection
Maximus Rigby is also back for the Red Flash. Rigby scored three goals netting two assists during his freshman campaign.
LAST TIME WE MET
Saint Francis opened the 2021 season against St. Bonaventure in Loretto. The match was cancelled due to weather in the 36th minute.
The series is split between the teams, 4-4-1. The Red Flash defeated the Bonnies in 2018 with a 3-1 victory in New York.
