NEWARK, NJ – Saint Francis University men's volleyball players,
Ryan Parker and
Thomas Leahey both earned a spot on the First Point/Northeast Conference (NEC) Prime Performer list after their stellar performances this week, the conference announced on Tuesday.

Parker led the Red Flash a setter this weekend to notch 80 assists and average 8.89 assists per set. In addition, Parker collected four kills, one service ace, 16 digs, and 5.0 blocks for Saint Francis. Parker's 12 digs on Saturday was a new career game high. Parker leads the Red Flash in three statistical categories over six games played this season with 187 assists, 34 digs and seven service aces.

Leahey led the Red Flash defensively this week to collect 8.0 blocks and five digs over the nine sets played. In addition, the middle blocker gave Saint Francis 15 kills and one service ace. Leahey continues to lead the Red Flash with 20.0 blocks over six games this season.Â

The Red Flash will head to Newark, N.J. Friday, Feb. 3 to take on NJIT for a 4:00 p.m. match time before hosting Alderson Broaddus on Saturday, Feb. 4 at 7:00 p.m. for its home opener.
