LORETTO, Pa. – Saint Francis University football has five student-athletes earn College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors, the organization announced on Tuesday.

Bailey Iboleon,
Mac Plummer,
Jesse Ramil and
Mercury Swaim were the five players honored.

The recognition for players selected to the All-District team acknowledges student-athletes for their combination of performance on the field and in the classroom.
Â
Iboleon carried a perfect 4.0 GPA while earning his Master of Business Administration. Glassmyer carried a 3.91 GPA studying Business Administration, Swaim carried a 3.81 GPA studying Chemistry, Ramil carried a 3.70 GPA studying Early Childhood Education and Plummer carried a 3.56 GPA studying accounting.

On the field, Glassmyer led the way as a Jerry Rice Award Finalist, Stats Perform FCS Freshman All-American, ECAC and NEC Defensive Rookie of the Year and All-NEC First Team honors. He led Saint Francis with 90 total tackles and his 9.0 tackles per game led FCS freshman and ranked 27th overall in the country.

Iboleon and Ramil started all-10 games for the Red Flash on the offensive line. The group paved the way for a Saint Francis offense that was atop the NEC with 360.1 total yards and 27.2 points per game this season.

Plummer and Swaim appeared in all-10 games for the Red Flash this season at kicker and linebacker, respectively. Swaim ranked third on the team with 48 total tackles, fifth with 4.0 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks and added two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and one interception. Plummer went 5-for-8 on field goal attempts with a season-long of 36 yards.
