NEWARK, NJ – Trevor Lewis and
Ryan Parker both notched a spot on the First Point Northeast Conference (NEC) Men's Volleyball Prime Performer list this week after their performances at LIU this past weekend.
Lewis led the Red Flash in the team's game at LIU this week by notching his first career double-double with 23 kills and 12 digs. The outside hitter added two service aces and three block assists to give the Red Flash 26.5 points over the five set back-and-forth battle. In addition, Lewis recorded a .380 hitting percentage in the game. Tuesday's recognition is Lewis' first NEC Prime Performer mention of his career.
Parker led the Red Flash as the setter by notching a new career high of 55 assists in Saturday's game at LIU. In addition, Parker gave the Red Flash 4.0 total blocks and added four digs on Saturday. This is Parker's third NEC Prime Performer recognition of he season and fourth NEC weekly mention.
The Red Flash will begin a four-game home stretch beginning on Friday, Feb. 24 at 6:00 p.m. against Sacred Heart.
