BOX SCORE 2 HILTON HEAD, S.C. – Saint Francis University women's tennis dropped its match 4-3 to George Mason, while the men's team lost 4-0. The matches were played as a continuation of Sunday's postponed matches.
Women's: Saint Francis 3, George Mason 4
Doubles
George Mason took two of the three doubles matches to earn the point.
Kelly Dowuona and
Anoek Pruijmboom took a 6-2 victory in the No. 2 match to account for Saint Francis' only victory. The No. 3 match was decided 7-6 in a George Mason victory.
Singles
George Mason and Saint Francis split the singles matches to lead to a Patriots' victory.
Bente Vandeputte won the No. 1 match 7-5, 1-6, 1-0 (10-9), Dowuona won the No. 3 match 6-4, 6-2 and
Valeria Vinces won the No. 4 match 6-3, 6-3. All-three George Mason victories were decided in three sets.

George Mason took two of the three doubles matches to earn the point.
Christian Banti and
Patrick Reese took the No. 3 match 6-0 for the only Red Flash win.
Singles
George Mason took all-three completed matches to earn the victory. The singles were played until one team won the match with four victories. Two of the three matches were decided in straight sets, while
Gregory Troyan took his to three sets but withdrew in the final.
