NEWARK, NJ – Saint Francis University men's volleyball players,
Blake Liprando and
Nathan Zini have been named First Point Northeast Conference (NEC) Prime Performers this week after their stellar performances in a weekend sweep, the conference announced Monday.

Lirpando posted 17 kills, four assists, three service aces, 10 digs and 2.0 total blocks to give the Red Flash 21.0 points on the week. The outside hitter averaged 2.43 kills per set and 1.43 digs per set over the seven sets played this week. Monday's recognition is Liprando's second NEC Prime Performer nod of the season.

In the team's four-set win over Merrimack on Saturday, Zini led the Red Flash with 15 kills and added one service and three digs to give the Red Flash 16.0 points. In addition, the opposite hitter averaged 3.75 kills per set in Saturday's win over the Warriors. This is Zini's third NEC Prime Performer recognition of the season.

Saint Francis will take on St. Francis Brooklyn on Friday, April 7 at 6:00 p.m. in DeGol Arena.
