Somerset, NJ – Saint Francis University outdoor track and field's
Madeline Murphy earned her fourth consecutive Northeast Conference Field Athlete of the Week honor, the conference announced Wednesday. Murphy was accompanied by
Gabrielle Stanavich,
Julian Saunders and
Ardonntrell Williams as Prime Performers.

Murphy posted two event victories from the Red Flash Open on Saturday. The senior won the triple jump with a leap of 12.09 and recorded a season best mark of 5.71m in the long jump. Murphy ranks number one in the NEC in both events and is currently 74th in the NCCAA Division I East in the triple jump with her mark from the Bucknell Team Challenge of 12.35m.

On Monday, Murphy was named Saint Francis' Female Athlete of the Year becoming the first female track and field athlete to earn the honor.

Stanavich, an Amsterdam, N.Y. native, won the 100m hurdles with a time of 14.47. The senior ranks number one in the conference in the event.

Saunders, a Boyertown, Pa. native, took the top time of 10.66 in the 100m dash. The sophomore ranks third in the NEC in the event. He was also a part of the victorious, school-record breaking 4x100m relay team that posted a time of 40.86.

Williams, a Voorhees, N.J. native, won the 110m hurdles with a meet and facility breaking time of 14.28. He was also a part of the winning 4x100m relay team on Saturday. Williams ranks number one in the NEC in the 110m hurdles and 70th in the nation.

The Red Flash will compete at the NEC Outdoor Track and Field Championships this weekend in North Andover, Massachusetts.
