For the first time since the inception of the Northeast Conference Institutional Academic Award and Team GPA Winners, Saint Francis University had seven teams named the Team GPA Champion for their respective sport.­ Softball, women's swimming and diving, women's tennis, women's indoor track and field, women's outdoor track and field, men's volleyball and women's volleyball all posted the highest team GPA against the other NEC members. The previous mark was six teams in 2016, while five teams in 2017 and 2018 had the best team GPA in the circuit. 
 
Women's tennis was the only repeat champion from 2022 and earned its third in the last four years (2020, 2022, 2023). Women's indoor and outdoor track and field both racked up their fifth team GPA title, thanks to honors in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. The five crowns are second-most in Red Flash history to women's cross country and its six titles (2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2020). 
 
Softball picks up its second honor after taking home the honor in 2016, while swimming and diving garners its fourth recognition and first since 2019. Women's swimming was also the team GPA champion for its sport in 2013, 2018 and 2019. 
 
Women's volleyball earns its second NEC Team GPA award after taking receiving the recognition in the first year of the award (2007). Men's volleyball earned its first team GPA crown to bring Saint Francis to 16 teams that have been named a team GPA champion since 2007. Men's volleyball is the inaugural team GPA champion after the conference added the sport for the 2023 season. 
 
After winning the NEC Institutional Award in 2021 and 2022, the Red Flash finished third in the league in overall GPA for all teams that the NEC sponsors. It is the ninth straight year, the Loretto program has finished in the Top-3 of the league and the 13th time since 2009. Saint Francis won an NEC record six Institutional Awards (2009, 2010, 2011, 2018, 2021 and 2022).
