Nathan Godbout (St. George, Vt.) finished tied for 15th to lead Saint Francis men's golf in the Cornell Invitational on Monday.
>> After shooting an even-par round of 71 in the first round on Sunday, Godbout shot a three-over par round of 74 to finish the two-day event with a score of 145, nine strokes behind the medalist.
>> The Red Flash finished 11th in the first event of the year.

Jackson Hoey (Sewickley, Pa.) (40th place, 150),
Hunter Jurica (Derry, Pa.) (51st place, 153),
Alex Carr (Somerset, Pa.) (66th place, 168) and
Ben Diskin (Charlotte, N.C.) (67th place, 171) rounded out the Red Flash five competitors. Hoey finished the first round with a one-over par first round of 72, while Jurica posted a two-over par second round of 73.
The competition was the first under first-year head coach Jonathan Kulas. Jurica and Carr both made their collegiate debut in the event. Diskin made his Saint Francis debut after playing three seasons at McDaniel College.
Siena won the competition after finishing the competition 10 shots under par, while Temple (+5), Colgate (+6), Bucknell (+10) and host Cornell (+11) rounded out the Top-5 teams in the field. The Red Flash finished 11th in the event with a two-round score of +47.
