Former Saint Francis men's basketball standout Andre Wofford will enter his fourth professional season in 2024 after signing with the Bankston Bruins of the NBL1 Australian League.

It will be Wofford's second season in Australia after playing for the Port Macquarie Dolphins last season, where he averaged 26.0 points, 6.3 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 2.1 steals per game. Wofford for 55.0 percent from the floor, 45.7 percent from behind the arc and 87.0 percent from the free throw line for the Dolphins.

Wofford began his playing career in Kozovo with team Prizreni and also played with the Limerick Celtics in the Irish Division I league in Ireland. In 18 games with the Celtics, Wofford averaged 32.8 points, 4.7 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game during the 2021-22 season. He played in eight games during the 2019-20 season with Prizreni, averaging 14.1 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game in eight contests in the Kosovo-Superliga league.

Wolford, who was named the Northeast Conference (NEC) Most Improved Player in 2017-18, appeared in 101 games with 39 starts, 866 points, 205 rebounds, 46 assists, 47 steals and 16 blocks in his four seasons in Loretto. During his junior season, he ranked second in NCAA Division I in 3-point field goal percentage (49.1) and drained 97 treys, the second most in single season program history. In a game against Stony Brook, Wolford hit eight triples to sit one shy of the single-game record for the Red Flash en route to a career-high 26 points on December 2, 2017. He registered 712 of his 866 points in a Saint Francis uniform in his last two seasons.
During his four seasons in Loretto, the Red Flash went 66-62 overall, 44-27 in NEC action and played in three postseason tournaments (CIT – 2016 & 2017; NIT – 2019). The team advanced to the NEC title game in 2017 and 2019.
