LORETTO, Pa. – Saint Francis indoor track and field members Rhoda Alaban-Tafon and Nickolas Hyde have been NEC Prime Performers for their performances at the Nittany Lion Challenge this past weekend, the conference announced Tuesday.
The two athletes were named NEC Prime Performers for the first time this season after receiving two selections during the 2022-23 indoor season.
Alaban-Tafon, a graduate student from Glen Burnie, Md., finished 11th in the 400m dash with a time of 58.79.
Hyde, a graduate student from Somerset, Pa., took 12th in shot put with a mark of 15.99m.
Indoor track and field will compete at the Gulden Invitational hosted by Bucknell University Saturday, January 20.
