Swimming Falls to Youngstown State

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
>> Swimming came up short against Youngstown State with a narrow 139-123 score.

>>The Red Flash picked up five wins in the meet.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Saint Francis won the first swimming event of the day with Bridget Kurtzweil, Taylor Weth, Anna Bernasconi and Oksana Horova finishing the 200-yard medley relay at 1:48.68.

Individually, Kurtzweil won the 100-yard and 200-yard backstroke with times of 58.41 and 2:08.68, respectively.

In the 50-yard freestyle, Bernasconi took first, clocking in at 25.08.

The Red Flash also won the final event of the day in the 400-yard freestyle relay. Aurem Pifarre, Katie Webster, Bernasconi and Horova finished at 3:35.65.

UP NEXT
The Red Flash will compete in the TYR '85 Liberty Invite on November 22-24 in Lynchburg, Va.
