Bobby Rosenberger III have been named Northeast Conference Prime Performers for November 25-December 1 and the second straight week. The duo played a crucial role in the Red Flash's 88-78 win against Lehigh on Tuesday.
Parker averaged 18.5 points, 6.0 assists, and 5.5 rebounds per game in two games, including a career-high 23 points against Lehigh. The junior also had a basket in the key 10-0 run to end the game against the Mountain Hawks. Trailing 10-7, Saint Francis went on a 13-0 run to take a 20-10 lead with 13:57 left in the first half. Parker fueled the run with seven points. The junior then recorded 14 points, seven rebounds, and five assists against Radford on Sunday. Parker shot 53.1 percent (17-for-32) from the floor in the two games and has posted double figures in four-straight games, including a pair of 20-point performances.
Rosenberger averaged 18.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game, including draining the go-ahead 3-pointer on Tuesday. After the Mountain Hawks tied the game at 78, Rosenberger knocked down a 3-pointer with 93 seconds left to give the Red Flash the lead for good. After a defensive rebound by Rosenberger, Parker scored in the lane with 60 seconds on the clock. The game became a free throw game, with Saint Francis hitting 5 of 6 at the line and Rosenberger hitting the final two charity tosses. The sophomore posted a season-high 21 points and eight rebounds in the win against the Mountain Hawks. Rosenberger then tallied 15 points, five rebounds, four assists, two steals, and a block against Radford on Sunday. The sophomore posted double figures in seven of the eight games, including all seven against NCAA Division I opponents. Rosenberger registered two consecutive 20-point games for the first time in his career thanks to 20 points at Georgetown and his 21 points against Lehigh.
Rosenberger has been selected as a Prime Performer for the last three weeks and five times in his career. Parker has two Prime Performers, and junior
Valentino Pinedo earned one for the season's second week.
