LORETTO, Pa. – Saint Francis University men's and women's tennis will get ready to hit the road again this weekend after a week off. Both teams will play Northern Kentucky on Saturday and Dayton on Sunday.
The women's team will play the Norse at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, and the men will play after that match has been completed. On Sunday, the men will play Dayton at 9:00 a.m., and the women will play the Flyers after the completion of the men's match.
Women's Tennis Quick Hits
Saint Francis heads into the weekend with a 5-5 overall record and has won four of their last five matches. Diana Zuba currently leads the Red Flash in singles wins with a 13-5 record on the year.
Kelly Dowuona leads the team in doubles wins on the season with a 12-5 record. Dowuona has won six doubles matches in a row, and five singles matches in a row.
Kally Kadzinski has also won her last six doubles matches, all of which have been alongside Dowuona. Kadzinski has also won her last four singles matches.
The Dowuona and Kadzinski are 7-2 as a tandem on the year.
Scouting Northern Kentucky
The Norse are 2-4 entering the match after winning their last two matches against Thomas More and Lindenwood. Northern Kentucky will travel to Dayton to play the Flyers on Friday before squaring off against the Red Flash.

Saint Francis is 0-4 all-time against Northern Kentucky. The Red Flash fell to the Norse 6-1 last year in Highland Heights. Valeria Vinces picked up the lone point of the match for Saint Francis with a 7-6, 6-4 win in the No. 5 slot.

Dayton enters the weekend with a 3-4 record. The Flyers will have played one more match before meeting the Red Flash, meeting Northern Kentucky on Friday. The Flyers have won three matches in a row with victories over IUPUI, Southern Indiana and Eastern Kentucky. Marra Bruce leads the Flyers in singles wins with an 11-4 record on the year, including wins in her last five singles matches. Erica Wojcikiewicz and Laura Greb each have eight doubles wins on the year. The two have won their last three matches as a pair.
