WEST WINDSOR, N.J. – Saint Francis University men's and women's tennis both enter the NEC Championships this weekend as three seeds in their respective tournaments. The women play Wagner in the quarterfinal at 9:00 a.m. on Friday and the men play Sacred Heart after 11:30 a.m.Â
Women's Tennis Quick HitsÂ
Saint Francis heads into the weekend with an 11-11 record on the year and a 4-1 record in the NEC. Diana Zuba currently leads the Red Flash and holds the lead in the Northeast Conference in singles wins with a 21-7 record on the year. Zuba is 14-4 from the No. 1 position in dual matches this season and has won 10 of her last 12 singles contests.Â
Kelly Dowuona has 15 singles wins on the season as well.Â
Dowuona leads the team in doubles wins on the season with a 17-10 record. Sara Jankovic and Kally Kadzinski have 14 doubles wins each as well. Â

The Seahawks enter the match at 7-12 on the year and are 2-3 in the NEC.Â
Tara Dakic and Gabrielle Perraudin lead Wagner with 12 singles wins apiece this season.Â
Perraudin and Dariana Vera are the top doubles tandem for the Seahawks this season with a 5-2 record. Vera leads the team in total doubles wins with 10.Â

Saint Francis is 9-1 all-time against Wagner. After dropping the first matchup back in 2008, the Red Flash have taken nine in a row. The two teams were supposed to meet back on Mar. 30, but the match was canceled. Â

Saint Francis enters the weekend at 10-7 on the season and are 5-1 in the NEC so far. Alan Gonzalez leads the Red Flash in singles competition this year with a 19-8 record.Â
Tyler Nguyen holds the next best singles record for Saint Francis at 15-7, and also holds the team lead for doubles wins with 18.Â
Nguyen and doubles partner Mathis Tremblay are the top pair for the Red Flash with an 11-6 record this season, 8-4 from the No. 1 spot.Â
