WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
>> Saint Francis Track and Field competed at the Northeast Conference (NEC) Outdoor Track & Field Championships over the weekend.
>> The women's team finished fourth out of nine teams with 112 points. The men's team took fifth with 62.
>> The teams combined for three event victories and 10 podium finishes.
>> Carly Sedun was named the Women's NEC Most Outstanding Field Performer (Throws) after placing first in the hammer throw (52.21m) and second in discus (40.67m).

FLASH WOMEN'S TRACK & FIELD NUGGETS
Along with Sedun, the women's team had one more event victory and four podium finishes.
Marlena Jacobs took home another NEC title in the pole vault with a clearance of 3.60m. She claimed first at the Indoor Track & Field Championships in February.
The 4x800 relay team of Mariclare Anderson, Monica Gregg, Emma Fleck and Sarah Colman finished third with a time of 9:16.03.
Naomi Hillen placed third in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 11:11.97.
Tierney Beebout placed third in the high jump with a mark of 1.64m.
Rounding out the top-three performances is Sydney Rush, who took first in the 100m dash with a time of 12.32.
FLASH MEN'S TRACK & FIELD NUGGETS
On the men's side, the team had one event victory and three podium finishes.
David Niang claims another NEC 110m hurdles title after finishing first with a time of 14.43. He also placed first at the Indoor Track & Field Championships back in February.
Julian Saunders took second in the 100m dash with a time of 10.57.
Cam Wagner rounds out the men's top-three placements in second in discus with a mark of 47.62m.
