Men's Tennis Finalizes 2024 Signing Class

LORETTO, Pa.- Saint Francis men's tennis Head Coach Eric Hovan announced the additions of Blake Lorenzo, Noah Potts, Kevin Titus Suresh and Beau Welker to the 2024 signing class.

Blake Lorenzo

Lorenzo is a native of La Mesa, Calif. who joins Saint Francis from Grossmont High School. Lorenzo comes from a family of tennis players in San Diego, Calif. His father, Conan, is the Director of Tennis at La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club.

"Blake has been working very hard over the last year and made some significant progress." Hovan said.  "Blake is a very coachable athlete and someone who will be a great teammate. I am excited to watch him compete this fall.".

Noah Potts

Potts, a Bethlehem, Pa. native, arrives in Loretto following a successful high school career at Freedom High School. Potts was a part of a Freedom team that won three PIAA District XI championships. Potts will be a second generation Division I player. His father, Matt, played at Lehigh and teaches tennis professionally.

"Noah has been working really hard over the last year and training in Florida." Hovan said. "Noah is a very humble and coachable person who comes from a great tennis family. We are excited to see Matt compete this fall.".

Kevin Titus Suresh

Titus Suresh is the lone international recruit for the Red Flash in the class, hailing from Bengaluru, India. Titus Suresh had a respectable career at the junior level, one in which he amassed a 11.32 UTR rating and played in several ITF tournaments.

"Kevin is a very solid baseliner who isn't afraid to grind out long matches." Hovan said. "Throughout the recruiting process, I have been very impressed with Kevin and his family.  Kevin is looking forward to starting his academic and athletic career at Saint Francis.".

Beau Welker

Greb hails from Sandy, Utah, where he played for Corner Canyon High School. Welker was a key member of the Corner Canyon team that won the 6A state championship in 2023, playing in the No. 1 doubles spot.

"Beau has a larger than life personality that made such an impression with many people across campus.  All great teams need that energy source and Beau will definitely provide that for us." Hovan said. :Beau is a very solid doubles player and someone who can make an immediate impact.".

The four incoming freshmen join a Saint Francis squad that made it all the way to the NEC final this past season.
