CRESSON, Pa. – Saint Francis University football held its annual golf outing on Friday, July 19 at Summit Country Club in Cresson, Pa.
 
The event sold out all 29 available teams with 116 participants consisting of alumni, friends and family across the Red Flash community. This is the fifth consecutive event that has been filled to capacity.
 
"It's great to see this much support for our program," said head coach Chris Villarrial. "Thank you to everyone who continues to come out and contributes to the continuous growth of Red Flash football."
 
Saint Francis wrapped up the summer session of workouts on Friday morning and the offseason continues with Northeast Conference Media Day on July 24 that will feature quarterback Nick Whitfield, Jr., defensive lineman Eddie Bierals and coach Villarrial.
 
The 2024 season is set to kickoff on Saturday, August 31 with a 12 p.m. start at Dayton.
