FLASH MOMENTS
The Red Flash opened the day with Turner's fourth-place finish in the 500-yard freestyle (5:16.19), followed by senior
Morgan Moniz in fifth (5:22.34) and junior
Katie Webster in 13th (5:33.55).
Rubio continued her strong invitational with a second-place finish in the 200 backstroke (2:07.53), marking one of Saint Francis' top individual results of the weekend.
In the 200-yard breaststroke, sophomore Taylor Weth placed seventh (2:28.36) while Abby King added a solid 11th-place time (2:32.49). Freshman Ava Bosetti clocked 2:38.76 for 14th, building on her first collegiate meet experience.
The Red Flash sprint core continued to deliver points in the 100 freestyle, as Kathryn Tanis (54.98), Reegan Brown (56.18), and Ella Anderson (56.63) all scored top-15 finishes.
In the 100 butterfly, senior Laryssa Webster (1:00.69) and junior Brown (1:01.82) both placed in the top 10, while Weth added more points in 11th (1:02.55).
Saint Francis capped the weekend with a fourth-place finish in the 400 freestyle relay (3:41.81), featuring Rubio, Brown, Tanis, and Webster, with another solid swim from the B relay (3:46.42).
FLASH NUGGETS
Turner earned her third top-five finish of the weekend, showing strong form across both IM and distance freestyle events.
The Red Flash improved times across several events from Friday to Saturday, including the 50 and 100 freestyle, where multiple swimmers recorded season bests.
NEXT ON TAP
Saint Francis will hit the road for a dual meet against Millersville University on Saturday, Oct. 18 at 1:00 p.m. at Anttonen Natatorium in Millersville, Pa.
The Red Flash will look to build on last season's victory over the Marauders, which came on nearly the same date, October 19th.
