TURNING POINT OF THE GAME
The ultimate turning point of the game came early into the second quarter when Stonehill completed a 24-yard pass for a touchdown to give the Skyhawks a 10-7 lead that they would keep for the rest of the game.
FLASH MOMENTSÂ
London got the Red Flash on the board with his second touchdown of the season in the middle of the first quarter off a stellar 50-yard pass from Mejia to give Saint Francis their first lead of the game, 7-3.Â
Redshirt senior kicker Mac Plummer showcased his leg early in the fourth quarter by drilling a 40-yard field goal right down the middle, bringing Saint Francis within striking distance at 20-10.Â
FLASH NUGGETS
Calgaro finished with eight tackles, surpassing the 100-tackle milestone for the first time in his career. He raced past his previous career high of 70, set last season, and now leads the team with 105 tackles. The sophomore also recorded the first fumble recovery of his career after redshirt freshman Corey Williams forced the ball loose, allowing Calgaro to return it 27 yards.
Fifth-year running back Najee Adams led the team in rushing yards, carrying the ball 14 times for 52 yards, closing his season total to 138.Â
Sophomore linebacker Zach Betts recorded the Red Flash's lone sack in today's contest, ending his season with five total. Additionally, Betts tallied an additional tackle, bringing his season total to 50 on the year, good for fourth on the Red Flash defense.Â
Redshirt senior punter Aidan Cirulli did what he's done best all year, accumulating 173 yards punting, which helped him finish his career with 2,691 total punting yards for the season, bringing his career total to 7,128 and moving him further into third all-time.Â
Senior tight End Mike Darcy led the team in receptions against Stonehill, catching a season high four passes for 33 yards.
