Saint Francis women's soccer's Emma Sawich (McMurray, Pa./Peters Township) named All-NEC Second Team for the 2025 season.

Sawich starting in all 18 games, truly made her senior season her best. She reached new career highs as well as recorded national bests. She also received two prime performer accolades this fall.

The 2025 captain recorded a total of 136 saves throughout the fall season with a career high of 16 saves during the September 4 matchup against Bucknell. This season, Sawich was brought into national spotlight holding the number one spot in the nation in total saves for NCAA Division I women's soccer. Following the regular season, she ranked second in NCAA Division I women's soccer for total saves.

During her 2024 season, Sawich made the most saves by a Saint Francis goalkeeper since 2018 with 98 saves. She topped this historical high by adding 38 more on top of that.

Throughout her 2021-2025 collegiate career, Sawich appeared in 45 matches and recorded 283 saves.

Sawich is the fifth goalkeeper in Saint Francis women's soccer history to be named All-NEC second team. She joins the list of Jessica Boyer (2008), Brianna Bitcher (2012), Julie Herman (2018), and Sara McConnon, former teammate of Sawich (2023), who have also received this honor.
