Karsyn Ford (Johnstown, Pa./Richland) was named women's NEC Rookie of the Week after a huge performance from the freshman. During the Wagner Seahawk Shootout, Ford competed in the women's pole vault and finished with a jump for 3.45m / 11' 3.75". With this, she took the second spot on the leader board and the first spot in the NEC for pole vault.Â

Tyler Craft all were named Prime Performers. McNaughton (Summerville, Pa./Clarion-Limestone) finished in eighth place for the 3000-meter with a time of 10:27.97. This is a new person record for the senior.
Renk (Bridgeville, Pa./South Fayette) took sixth place during the women's 60-meter dash. She had a time of 7.73. Renk also competed in the 300-meter to take the eighth spot with a person record of 39.80. This broke Saint Francis's program record in this event that was previously held by Alexis Hurd in 2012. Renk sits first in the 200 meter and second in the 60 meter in the NEC.
Gulycz (Whitehall, Pa./Allentown Central Catholic) finished first during the shootout in shot put. He threw 16.64 meters. He also placed 15th in weight throw with a time 14.16m. Gulycz currently leads the NEC in shot put and sits in 10th place in the weight throw.
Sophomore Craft (Tualatin, Ore./Tualatin) rounded out the Red Flash in awards. During the long jump, he took eighth place after a reach of 6.77m. Craft also collected fifth place after a launch of 14.33 meters in the triple jump. With that jump, Craft is tied in fourth in the NEC.
Saint Francis will take a short break and resume its events at the Nittany Lion Challenge on January 17.Â
