THE WORD ON DAEMEN
Daemen is 11-10 and 2-2 in the NEC so far during the 2025 campaign. The Wildcats got swept by LIU on March 28-29, but are also coming off two-straight 3-1 victories over FDU on April 5-6. The reigning conference champions are currently third in the standings.

Zach Schneider (227), Billy Wieberg (182), and Patrick Mullen (124) lead the Daemen offensive attack in kills. Wieberg has also posted the most service aces with 27. Jariel Giraud has dished out 437 assists as the setter.

Maverick O'Neill anchors the Wildcats defense with 60 blocks (44 assisted, 16 solo). Libero Kyle Zelasko is the team leader in digs with 130.

LAST TIME WE MET THE WILDCATS
This weekend's matches will be the eighth and ninth matchups of the all-time series. Saint Francis had won the first six contests, including two 3-1 wins over Daemen during the 2024 regular season. However, the Wildcats bounced back with their own four set win in the conference championship game to win their first NEC title.

LAST TIME OUT
Saint Francis is on top of the NEC standings with a 4-0 record after back-to-back series sweeps over FDU and D'Youville. Dating back to the 2024 team's perfect 12-0 record, the Red Flash have won their last 16 regular season conference matches. Across the first four contests and 13 sets, the 2025 squad has only dropped one set in their victories.

The team's last time out saw them collect two victories at FDU on March 28-29. The Red Flash won in four sets on the 28th and then swept the Knights the following day on the 29th.

Andrew Deardorff leads the team with 309 kills and 47 service aces. The senior is also second in digs with 89. He notched his 100th career ace during the FDU series, becoming the fourth player in Saint Francis men's volleyball history to achieve the feat. He's also only 53 kills from reaching 1,000 for his career and would be the seventh player in program history to do so.

Deardorff has picked up 10 prime performers and five Player of the Weeks this season.

Brady Stump is second in kills with 190. In the last nine matches that the junior has been active for, he has registered 123 (13.67 per match) slams. He has recorded 10 or more in eight of the last nine contests. He compiled 33 during the FDU series to collect his third prime performer of the 2025 campaign.

Freshman setter Kyle Charles has been the engine of the Red Flash offense since making his first collegiate start on January 10, dishing out 671 assists. He has contributed 79 digs and 31 digs on defense as well. He has been named First Point/NEC Rookie of the Week nine times, prime performer seven times, and earned Defensive Player of the Week once.

On defense, Sam Lane leads the Red Flash with 49 blocks (46 assisted, 3 solo). The team leader in digs is Richard Kaminski, who has racked up 120.

Nicholas Lynch collected First Point/NEC Defensive Player of the Week for his 10 blocks versus the Knights. The redshirt junior has totaled 36 blocks (32 assisted, 4 solo) this season.
