>> The Saint Francis women's tennis team started the 2025-26 season at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational over the weekend. The Red Flash team won five of the eight doubles matches and six singles victories.
>>Â Helena Lynn led the team with an overall record of 6-2 on the weekend in both doubles and singles.
FLASH MOMENTSÂ
Picking up where she left off, junior Reagen Mangan, an All-NEC second-team doubles player last season, won both of her singles matches.
With her two victories on Saturday, Kelly Dowuona tied Alex Sachs for the singles program win record. Dowuona set the combined wins for singles and doubles program record in the spring.
Led by Lynn four freshman, Emma Marais, Breeze Simon and Gabriela Almanza picked up their first Red Flash wins with Lynn going 4-0 in singles and Almanza 4-0 in doubles.
