On the women's side of things, senior Dowuona, the Women's Program leader in all-time combined wins, competed eight times in the tournament. While she finished with a .500 record overall, she advanced to the conference final alongside her duo partner, freshman Marais.Â
Other notable singles performances came from freshman
Gabriela Almanza and sophomore
Sophia Cunningham, who won two out of their three singles matches. Notable double performances came from junior
Reagen Mangan and Almanza, who won three of their four matches.Â
Moving to the men's side of things, Reigning as the rookie of the year, sophomore Suresh won all four of his singles matches, helping him capture the NEC Singles Championship for the men's bracket. With his victorious weekend in Binghamton, he's earned a spot in the ITA Masters, which will be held in San Diego.

The women's tennis team will compete in the Northeast ITA Regional Championships in Philadelphia, Pa, from Thursday, October 9th, to Tuesday, October 14th. Meanwhile, the men's team will travel to Pittsburgh for the Carnegie Mellon Invitational on Friday, September 26th, through Saturday, September 27th.
