DOUBLES
The Red Flash were unable to score in doubles action but fought hard against the Nittany Lions. The pairs of senior Kelly Dowuona and freshman Gabriela Almanza, as well as nationally ranked ITA sophomore Sophia Cunningham and freshman Emma Marais, each won three games against their Penn State opponents.
SINGLES
In singles action, Tuffs recorded the lone win in tonight's contest. After dropping her second set, the underclassman outlasted her opponent in the tiebreaker to secure the team's first point since the 2024 matchup.
NEXT TIME OUT
The women's tennis team returns Sunday, Jan. 25, as the Red Flash hosts its first home match of the season against Eastern Michigan at the Ebensburg Tennis Center at 10 a.m.
