HOW IT HAPPENED
Starting with the doubles action, the Red Flash came out strong, winning two of the three doubles matches to clinch the crucial doubles point. The first victory came from the duo of sophomore Kevin Titus Suresh and Troyan, who defeated their opponents 6-3. The second win was secured by the sophomore team of Blake Lorenzo and Beau Welker, who also triumphed over their Colgate opponents 6-3.
In singles action, the Red Flash were unable to fend off the Raiders, dropping four of the six matches. Troyan secured the second point for the team, defeating his opponent in straight sets, 6-4, 6-4. The third and final point came from freshman Jonah Ng, who claimed his first victory of the year with a 6-3,6-4 win.
