>> The Saint Francis track & field teams finished up its 2025-26 indoor season at the NEC Indoor Championship.

FLASH WOMEN NUGGETS
The women's team accumulated 71.5 points and 17 top-8 finishes over the two day span.
Anna Quackenbush finished the 3000 meter run in fifth place earning her team four points. She had a time of 10:05.00 on the first day.
Three Red Flash athletes placed in the top six of pole vault. In sixth place was sophomore
Aubrie Wells who cleared 3.20m. Next was
Claire Henry, she took fourth with 3.30m. Freshman
Karsyn Ford took second place and collected eight points. Ford cleared 3.45m to earn her spot on the podium.Â
To end day one at the NEC championship,
Rylee Nicklas took eighth place in women's shot put. She threw 11.04m to take the last place to earn points.Â
On day two, Renk started off hot for Saint Francis collecting second place in the 60 meter dash. She ran a 7.70 to gain eight points and earn a podium spot. Renk also finished third in the 200 meter dash with a time of 24:86.Â
Morgan McNaughton and
Nina Connors both placed fifth and sixth in the 1 mile run. McNaughton ran a 5:06.45 and Connors ran 5:06.72.Â
In the 400 meter dash,
Gabriella del Pielago took third place with her new personal record of 57.91.Â
Mackenzie Hirt earned fifth place after a 1:18.50 finish in the 500 meter dash.Â
Sarah Colman rounded out the 800 meter run with a finish of 2:28.05 to take eighth place.
Quackenbush, a junior, placed fourth in the 5000 meter run. She ran a 17:42.60 to take her second top five finish.Â
The women's 4000m distance medley relay team ran their way into second with a time of 12:22.47. This team consisted of Connors, del Pielago, Hirt, and McNaughton.
Likewise, the 4x400 meter relay team finished in eighth place with a 4:07.76 time.
Adraya Baxter, Renk, Colman, and
Abigail Sheehan were all on this team.
Saige Wilt finished in sixth place with a cleared 1.52m in women's high jump.Â
Nicklas finished day two in seventh place during weight throw with 14.30m.Â
FLASH MEN NUGGETS
The men's team registered 32 points and seven top-8 performances during the championship.
Sophomore
Jayden Foster took fifth place in men's long jump with 6.96m.Â
Joseph Sevison threw his way into fourth place with 17.32m in weight throw.Â
On day two, the men's 4000m distance medley relay team ran a 10:37.65 to take sixth. This team consisted of
Micah Brydon,
James Parmelee,
Michelangelo Piccirillo, and
Collin Dreese.Â
Austin Hladek,
Darius Harrell,
Tyler Persing, and
Tytan Hinkson made up the 4x400 meter relay team. They finished seventh with a time of 3:22.72.Â
Junior
Dylan Andrews took second place in pole vault with a clear of 4.60m.Â
Tyler Craft competed in the triple jump finishing in seventh place with a jump of 14.16m.Â
Clark Gulycz finished off the men's side with second place in shot put. He threw 17.57m on his second attempt to claim a podium spot.Â
