WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW 
Saint Francis men's tennis snapped a four-match losing streak by defeating the Lynchburg Hornets, 5-2, on day three of its spring break slate in Hilton Head, South Carolina.

HOW IT HAPPENED 
For the first time in six matches, the Red Flash claimed a doubles point after winning two of their three matches to start strong. The first victory came on court two, where the team of sophomore Kevin Titus Suresh and junior Sebastian Quinones won a closely contested match, 6-4. The point-clinching win came on court three, where freshmen Mario Beckles and sophomore Noah Potts secured a 6-3 victory.

In singles competition, Saint Francis won four of its six matches. The early breakthrough occurred on court one, where Suresh captured his second match point of the day, winning 6-2, 6-3. Sophomore Blake Lorenzo recorded an assertive victory against his Hornet opponent, winning 6-1, 6-2. Beckles showcased his skills on court three, adding another win, 6-3, 6-2. The final victory of the day for the Red Flash came on court four, where Potts claimed his seventh win of the season with a score of 6-0, 6-1.

Saint Francis men's tennis is back in action Friday, March 6, as they conclude their spring break slate in Hilton Head, South Carolina, with one final match against Spring Arbor, starting at 9 a.m.
