Sophomore Kevin Titus Suresh, Freshman Helena Lynn, Freshman Mario Mario Beckles, and Sophomore Dasha Chichkina, members of the Saint Francis tennis team, were named NEC Player of the Week, Rookie of the Week, and Prime Performer for their efforts this week as they participate in their non-conference spring break slate in Hilton Head, South Carolina.

Suresh currently leads the team with a 16-9 record. His most recent matches came against Assumption, Tiffin, and Lynchburg University. The reigning rookie of the week was able to win two of his three singles matches, along with his two doubles victories. This is the first time this season, and in his career, he's won player of the week, while it's the sixth time he's won NEC Prime Performer in his career. 

Lynn has emerged as a rising star on the team, currently holding a record of 18-10. The freshman leads the team in wins, claiming victories against Colgate, Binghamton, and Navy, while also pushing her opponents to the limit against Penn State and Buffalo. This is the underclassman's third time this season she's been named Rookie of the Week. 

Beckles has seen consistent action on the court this spring slate, almost routinely being placed in singles or doubles action. However, this past week was his breakout stretch, in which he won three straight matches to claim his first-ever conference award in his collegiate career. 

Sophomore Dasha Chichkina rounded out the list of this week's award winners, winning her ninth career Prime Performer. So far this season, the second-year student has showcased her skills, currently ranked second on the team with an overall record of 14-12.
