Saint Francis Women's Tennis Dominates Chicago State In NEC Quarterfinal by a score of 4-0 on Thursday afternoon at the Mercer County Tennis Center in West Windsor, N.J.
HOW IT HAPPENED
In another doubles match, the Red Flash cruised past their Chicago State opponents. The dominance started on court one, where sophomore Dasha Chichkina and freshman Helena Lynn posted a decisive 6-2 victory. The point-clinching win came on court four, as junior Reagen Mangan and freshman Gabriela Almanza sealed the doubles point with a 6-1 decision.
Saint Francis carried that momentum into singles play. Lynn rolled past her Chicago State opponent, 6-2, 6-1, and sophomore Morgan Tuff followed with an equally commanding performance, dispatching her opponent in a 6-1, 6-0 rout.

With her outstanding performance this afternoon against Chicago State, Lynn is now just one win shy of the program's single-season record, trailing only Diana Zuba, who set the mark last year with 27 victories.

Following today's victory, Saint Francis will advance to the semifinal round of the tournament to take on sixth-seed Le Moyne tomorrow, April 17, with a 9 a.m. start.
