WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

FLASH MOMENTSÂ
Game two told a much different story for the Red Flash, as they grabbed their first lead of the afternoon right away in the top of the first inning. In that opening frame, sophomore Sofia Zielinski lined a single through the right side of the infield to score junior Marianne Labelle and give Saint Francis a 1-0 lead. Saint Francis added to that advantage with three more runs in the top of the second inning, as freshman Sophia Rabatin and Garroway both scored on wild pitches. Meanwhile, Labelle reached base on her trademark bunt single, allowing Holtzman plenty of time to score from third and extend the Red Flash lead to 4-1. Crucial insurance runs came in the top of the fifth inning, with Holtzman once again delivering with runners in scoring position to give Saint Francis a 6-3 lead late in the game and help secure the road victory.
In game one, Saint Francis fell behind early as the Seahawks jumped out to an eight-run lead through the first three innings. The Red Flash finally got on the board when sophomore Morgan Pasternak crushed her 11th home run of the year. Saint Francis added another run in the following inning when freshman Olivia Holtzman launched a home run over the left-field fence, giving the rookie her 11th RBI of the year and cutting the Wagner lead to 8-3. Unfortunately, Wagner added to its lead from there and went on to win game one, 11-3.
FLASHÂ NUGGETS
Hottzman had two hits, two runs scored and three RBIs, while Labelle and Zielinski each had two hits, two runs scored and an RBI in the two games.
Garroway's historic on-base streak ended at 34 straight games. It set a new program record, surpassing Jordan Seneca's 31 consecutive games in 2017.

Saint Francis concludes its 2026 regular season Sunday, May 3, when it faces Wagner at Wagner Softball Field in Staten Island, N.Y. First pitch is scheduled for noon.
