JUNIOR (2013-2014) – Finished the season with 12 singles wins … posted a 5-1 record in the NEC … paired up with Chris Jimenez for a 10-3 record in doubles competition, including 4 conference wins.

SOPHOMORE (2012-2013) - FInished the season with 11 singles wins ... recorded a 4-3 record within the NEC ... teamed up with Washi Gervais for 7 doubles competition wins.

FRESHMAN (2011-12) - Tied the team lead with 14 singles wins during a successful freshman campaign … teamed up with Chris Jimenez in doubles competition to win three of their final four decisions … named NEC Men’s Tennis Rookie of the Month for September.

BEFORE SFU – Ranked fifth in Venezuela 18s state and 59th nationally … trained and competed at the Niagara Academy of Tennis in Ontario where he held a national ranking of 30th among 18 year olds in Canada … regional champion in Venezuela.

PERSONAL – Born on Oct. 23, 1993 … son of Herman Carvajal Giraldo and Sonia Juliette Sanchez Rojas … Engineering major.
