JUNIOR (2017-18) – Went 5-4 in singles and 2-9 in doubles… In dual matches, went 5-4 at No. 6 singles and won two doubles matches… Combined with Alec Dylan Foo-Kune for a win at No. 1 doubles and Charles Morkel for a win at No. 3.
SOPHOMORE (2016-17) – Went 17-5 in singles and combined with five different partners for a 12-7 record in doubles… In dual matches, Suntar was 12-3 in singles, playing at No. 4, 5 and 6, and went 11-4 in doubles… Went 5-2 in singles matches against NEC opponents… Had a 1-0 record at No. 4, a 4-3 mark at No. 5 and went 7-0 at No. 6… In doubles, he paired with Plamen Avuski, Arturo Dell’eva, Alec Dylan Foo-Kune, Franz Luna and Rodrigo Tico. Combined with Dell’eva for a 7-3 record at No. 2 and paired with Luna for a 3-1 mark at No. 2.
FRESHMAN (2015-16) – Second Team All-NEC at No. 2 doubles… NEC All-Rookie Team… NEC Rookie of the Week on 3/3 and 4/5… Went 17-13 in singles and 18-10 in doubles… 4-3 in singles and 2-3 in doubles in the Fall, competing at the Greater Cincinnati Collegiate Invitational, Bucknell Invite and Rocket Invite… Competed at No. 3 and 4 singles, with a 13-10 mark in dual matches and a 4-2 record in NEC matches. Won two matches at the NEC Tournament… Paired with Plamen Avuski in doubles, including 16-7 in dual matches and 4-2 in NEC matches. Won a match at the NEC Tournament.
BEFORE SFU - An accomplished player in Slovenia, Suntar travels was the second-best junior in the country. Suntar won the prestigious OP IGOR tournament in Slovenia. He also placed third at the OP Triglav Kranj tournament and earned two third place finishes at the Slovenia National Championships.
