SOPHOMORE (2017-18) – Went 4-10 in singles and 2-13 in doubles this year… In dual matches, picked up three wins at No. 5 singles… Went 2-2 against NEC opponents in singles, defeating Mount St. Mary’s Gabriel Santos (3-6, 7-5, 1-0(9)) and St. Francis Brooklyn’s Daniel Blasco (6-0, 6-4)… Combined with Alec Dylan Foo-Kune for a win at No. 1 doubles. Paired with Charles Morkel for a 2-2 mark at No. 3.

BEFORE SFU - Joined the Red Flash beginning in Spring 2018 after playing his freshman season at Eastern Florida State College... Garcia was the National Olympic Doubles champion in doubles as a 16 year old and a finalist in the Mexico National Masters in both singles and doubles... In Mexico, he ranked third among 16s and 10th among 18s.  In his state, he was the top-ranked player as a 16 year-old and No. 3 as an 18 year-old... In the Grade A National Tournament, he won the doubles title and reached the singles semifinals as a 16 year-old... Also competed in the ITA Grade 3 Tournament, advancing to the Round of 16 in doubles.
