SOPHOMORE (2009): Was the first SFU runner to finish at the Mount Saint Mary's 5k Duals, placing 20th out of 67 in the 5K with a time of 16:23  (9/4/09)...placed 21st out of 108 (26:44) at the Buffalo Stampede Invite (9/19/09)...finished 49th out of 102 (28:05) at the 2009 NEC Championships (10/31/09).

FRESHMAN (2008): Gibson crossed the tape in 15th (20:53.08) at his first-ever collegiate event, at the Bucknell Bison Opener... was the first Red Flash runner to finish, taking fourth overall (26:37), leading SFU to a third-place finish at the Cal (Pa.) Invitational (9/6/08)... was named NEC Rookie-of-the-Week on Sept. 16, 2008, after becoming the first freshman to cross the tape for the Red Flash at the Father Bede Hines Invitational, finishing second on the 5k course in 16:48... first Red Flash finisher at George Mason Cross Country Invite, taking 50th in 26:41 (10/5/08)…
