Recorded his season best time for the 1500m run at the Bucknell Team Challenge with a time of 4:14.25 … recorded his season best in the 3000m run at the Bennie Benson Memorial Invitational with a time of 10:03.44.

2010-11 Indoor
Recorded his season best time for the 1-mile at the Bison Opener where he placed fifth with a time of 4:39.43 … recorded his season best time for the 3000m run at the Penn State Relays with a time of 9:18.54 … at the Thomson Invitational he recorded his season best for the 5000m run with a time of 16:33.17.

2009-10 Indoor
Burns set two new career highs in 2010, recording a time of 4:51.97 in the Mile at the Bison Opener (12/5/09) and a time of 9:41.21 in the indoor 3000m at the Bucknell Heptagonal (1/23/10).

2009 Outdoor
Crossed the line in 18th in the 5k (15:51.36) at the 2009 NEC Outdoors

2008-09 Indoor
Finished 15th in the 5k (15:56.94), and 17th in the 3k (9:19.94), at the 2009 NEC Indoor Championships.
