HAMILTON, N.Y. (Sept. 14, 2007) – The Saint Francis field hockey team fell behind 3-0, but couldn't bounce back in a 4-1 loss against Colgate on Friday night.



Senior Leigh Ann Conroy (Walpole, Mass./Walpole) (Walpole, Mass. / Walpole) scored her first goal of the season at 57 minutes, 4 seconds, but it was too late as the Red Raiders were able to tack on an insurance goal at 58:15.



Junior Erin Reifsteck (Battle Creek, Mich./Saint Phillip) (Battle Creek, Mich. / Saint Phillip) stopped 14 shots in the loss. Conroy registered three shots in the match.



The Red Flash will return to action at 7 p.m. Tuesday, at Bucknell.
