LORETTO, Pa. – The Saint Francis mmen's cross country team hosted its annual meet the Father Bede Hines Invitational Saturday and finished third out of four teams competing.
 
Zack Burns led the Red Flash across the finish line with a time of 17:00 on the 5-kiometer course taking 12th overall. Ryan Dubois took 16th overall and crossed the line second for Saint Francis in a time of 17:07. Just behind Dubois, Adam Mengel (Monaca, Pa./Center) took 17th overall and finished just three seconds behind his teammate in a time of 17:10.
 
Wes Buehler ranked fifth for SFU in a time of 18:09 and finished 29th overall. Jake Portock rounded out the finishers for Saint Francis coming in 34th overall in a time of 19:03.
 
Saint Francis returns to action next week in Easton, Pa. as the Red Flash travel to the Lafeyette Invitational Oct. 15.
