Saint Francis welcomes the Duquesne Dukes to Loretto as the Red Flash opens its 26th varsity season. SFU is 2-1-1 against its Keystone State rival over the past four meetings, including a 2-1 mark in season-openers.  The 2012 campaign will mark the fourth consecutive season that the Flash and Dukes have opened up against one another.

Duquesne, which finished 3-14-1 in 2011, was picked to finish 15th in the 16-team Atlantic 10 in the league's preseason poll.

For fans not attending in person, Friday's match will have the distinction of being the first-ever event to be streamed live on the Northeast Conference's brand new website www.necfrontrow.com.  The service, which launched on Thursday, including live events, on-demand video, highlight packages, coaches shows, features, original programming and access to league's extensive digital library, all of which is free of charge to users.
